Jewel Marriages didn’t begin as a business plan. It began with a couple who fell in love with the idea of helping other couples – first by creating beautiful weddings, then by building beautiful marriages.

Jewel Marriages was co-founded by Lwazi and Soso Dekeda – married for 19 years, and invested in the marriages of others for just as long.

Soso Dekeda

Soso’s journey began when she left her career as a Dental Technician to follow her passion for creating extraordinary experiences for couples. She is a certified wedding planner who studied through Penn Foster College, USA, and holds a certificate in Business and Entrepreneurship from the Joseph Business School.

With over 14 years of experience planning weddings and events across South Africa and Eswatini, she brings precision, creativity, and an unmatched attention to detail to everything she touches.

Lwazi Dekeda

Lwazi is an admitted Attorney, Notary & Conveyancer with over 19 years’ experience in the legal field.

He is the founder of Lwazi Dekeda Inc. and the author of You Owe Us Your Greatest Life, Bring Your Piece, Go Conquer, and co-author of You Owe Us Your Greatest Marriage – works that share one heartbeat: stewardship, alignment, and living poured out for God’s glory and others’ good.

Together, they don’t write or counsel from theory.

They write and counsel from tested faith, honest process, and a marriage that has walked through its own seasons of fire and flourishing.
